HIRING INDUSTRY TRENDS IN HEALTH-SYSTEM PHARMACY
As a recruiter, it’s important that you are reaching your desired candidates where they spend the most time – on their social media apps. Your jobs should be featured on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, currently and, if you’re looking to reach today’s newly-hirable Generation Z; Instagram and Snapchat as well.
A recent article written by Natalie Kroc of the Society for Human Resource Management highlights that Snapchat and Instagram are useful in recruiting millennials and Generation Z candidates. She quoted Tom Borgerding, CEO and president of Campus Media Group in Minneapolis, “that employers should get on Snapchat now, rather than three years down the line.” “Just by establishing a Snapchat presence, an organization can stand out to Generation Z, whose oldest members are starting to join the workforce.”
Job seekers are now using social media to not only search for jobs, but to research the companies with open jobs. They can find information about a company’s culture, reviews from past and present employees, and to connect with current employees to get a more personal review. A job seeker’s mind can easily be made up, about a company, well before applying for a position.

Use the Social Media upgrade to ensure your job posting captures the attention of both active and passive candidates within the social channels they frequently visit. For more information contact Meredith McCauley, [email protected].
